Phuket
Hi My Friends! :)
It was snowing in Chicago when an airplane with me and two friends on it bound for Thailand took flight last Sunday afternoon! As I sit here in sweating in Phuket, Thailand; it is a little funny to think about how chilly I was in those frozen moments between the car and the airport that day. The flight was a long one and the bus ride from Bangkok to Phuket seemed even longer, but after some sleep and sunshine I know it is worth the travel! It has been exactly a year since the three of us were here in Thailand on the World Race. While I was in Chiang Mia then, my friends (Hannah and Brittni) were here in Phuket working with the same ministry that we are working with this time!
It is so exciting to be here working towards empowering woman and freedom. My next post will tell a bit more about what we are working towards so keep an eye out! Thank you for coming with me on my crazy adventures! Until next time! ;)
